Hello everyone!
I know it’s been a while since you’ve heard from me, but things are about to change. I’ll be starting up a whole new blog at www.klglanville.com sometime in the next week or two. The website is being created as you read! I hope you’ll come check it out. There are new books coming out, an audio book…and lots of excitement and things to talk about on the site. I hope you’ll join me!

Drawing Contest!

Like to draw? After you’ve read the book, download and print the pdf contest form here, collector card contest form, and draw a picture of one of your favorite characters… print out multiple copies of the form if you want to draw more than one of the characters. Submit your drawings along with the completed form to the address on the form. If your drawing is chosen, it will be used on upcoming collector cards!
To Qualify: you must be under age 18 to submit your drawing.
CAUTION: when you mail your drawing, make sure your paper is not folded where you drew, otherwise it leaves a crease through your drawing and it won’t look as good.

Help Me Name a Character!

Okay, so I’m needing a name for a sleazy character in book 2. I’m looking for suggestions! If I use the name you give me, I’ll put YOUR name in the acknowledgment section in the back of the book
So here’s some info on the guy and some guidelines.
- The man is sleazy, as I mentioned above.
- He runs a sweatshop – a business where people aren’t treated well, children may be forced to work long hours, etc (you can look sweatshop up on Wikipedia if you want more info).
- He’s probably in his late 20′s, early 30′s.
- The name should be unusual and preferably, not easily identifiable with one specific culture.
- Oh, and there doesn’t have to be a last name.

Welcome to my blog of Paper Wings. I will regularly post my ponderings (those wild notions that run through this brain of mine) and questions (to YOU), and even the occasional contest related to writing and my novels on this site. I hope to get a lot of reader feedback!
